JANELLE MONÁE
Janelle Monáe
Janelle Monáe is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer and actor whose work moves across R&B, funk, pop and rock, and who is known for a highly designed approach to stage and visual presentation.
Red Monkey built Monáe a one-off Red Monkey Custom Shop guitar strap for her surprise appearance at Coachella 2026, where she joined PinkPantheress on the Mojave stage for “Another Life.” The strap was made from white Italian leather with black pyramid studs set in a checkerboard pattern, built to match her stage wardrobe for that performance.
