Jeff Hanneman
Jeff Hanneman was a founding guitarist and principal songwriter of Slayer, one of the four bands that defined American thrash metal. He co-founded the band in 1981 and wrote or co-wrote much of its best-known material, including “Angel of Death,” “Raining Blood,” “South of Heaven” and “War Ensemble.” He played with Slayer until his death in 2013.
