Miley Unveils Custom Red Monkey Guitar Strap as She Announces Bass Persuades

A new Miley era has arrived — and Red Monkey is part of it.
Miley introduced her next chapter on September 1, 2026 with the announcement of Bass Persuades, her tenth studio album, arriving September 18, 2026. The announcement also revealed two headline performances at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and October 18.
Alongside the new music comes a new custom piece from the Red Monkey Custom Shop : a white leather guitar strap created specifically for Miley.
A New Custom Red Monkey Strap for Miley
The new strap is built in white leather with oversized tonal MILEY lettering running down the face of the strap. The monochromatic treatment makes the design bold and immediately recognizable while maintaining the clean visual direction of Miley’s new era.
Working with Miley’s Stylist Bradley Kenneth
Red Monkey founder and designer Torry Pendergrass worked directly with Miley’s longtime stylist, Bradley Kenneth , to create the custom straps for the last-minute shoot.
As the designer and maker behind Red Monkey’s custom work, Pendergrass built the pieces by hand at the Red Monkey studio in Los Angeles, working closely with Kenneth as the project came together on a tight timeline.
Before the straps left the studio, Kenneth came in personally to see and approve the finished pieces, give them his blessing, and pick them up for the shoot.
That direct designer-to-stylist collaboration is at the heart of the Red Monkey Custom Shop . Whether a project is for a tour, television appearance, film, festival, performance, or last-minute shoot, the goal is to translate an artist’s visual direction into handcrafted leather gear that looks like it was always meant to be there.
This latest piece continues Red Monkey’s work creating custom guitar straps and stage gear for artists whose equipment becomes part of their visual identity.
Miley Announces Bass Persuades
Miley revealed Bass Persuades on September 1, 2026. The album is scheduled for release September 18 and marks the beginning of a new musical chapter for the artist.
The announcement also confirmed Miley’s return to the stage for two headline performances at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and October 18, 2026.
